For permanent coverage we present a complete illustration, including product characteristics, guaranteed and non-guaranteed values, the assumptions on which it is based, and the soliciting agent's name and address. If you are considering replacing an existing policy, additional replacement disclosures apply.
Annuity recommendations are made in your best interest, consistent with the suitability standard (NAIC Model #275). Before or at the time you apply, we provide the Annuity Buyer's Guide and, for fixed deferred annuities, a disclosure document with contract-specific information. Annuities are long-term products; early withdrawals may be subject to surrender charges, income tax and, before age 59 1/2, a 10% federal tax penalty.
Insurance and annuity products are issued by the carriers we represent. Guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of the issuing company.
